From day one Tegan has been involved in art and renovating. With an artist mother and peripatetic parents who continually moved and renovated, Tegan grew up either crafting or tearing apart another house for resale. At first, it wasn’t apparent what field she would enter.

She attended UBC and graduated with a degree in psychology. This was her first step in understanding how vital one’s environment is in relation to how one feels and functions in the space they inhabit.

Tegan continued to renovate every home and apartment she stepped into until she had the opportunity to build her own home for her family of three children.

Deciding to formalize her passion for design, Tegan attended the Interior Design Program at BCIT graduating in 2008.

She then began to develop her interior design business while also broadening her design knowledge as a Benjamin Moore colour consultant and working in a furnishings showroom.

Now, years into her career as an interior designer, Tegan has worked on many projects from residential and commercial new builds to major renovations from the studs out as well as smaller renovations.

Being a people person, Tegan finds joy in creating spaces that bring joy to others. Her goal is to deliver designs that speak to the uniqueness of her clients. Designing homes with heart that reflect the people who live within them is Tegan’s focus.

It is Tegan’s belief that it takes a team to do great work and as such she works closely with builders and the trades and often works with other designers and stylists on larger projects.
